Sweet Valley

  • Rolling hills, a “quaint” town centre and a beach fifteen minutes away. (SVH 1)

Elizabeth’s Bedroom

  • Cream walls, off-white carpet, a velvet-covered chaise lounge, a closet with louvred doors and two mirrors. A large table is home to a typewriter, books, paper, pens and pencils. Above it is a theatre poster of A Touch of the Poet. (SVH 1)

Jessica’s Bedroom

  • Nicknamed the Hershey Bar, thanks to its chocolate brown walls, it’s always extremely messy. (SVH 2)

The Wakefield Back Yard

  • Contains a pine tree that is a favourite place for Liz and Jess (SVK 2)
  • Has an above-ground pool (SVK 4)

The Dairy Burger

  • Local hamburger joint and SVH hangout. (SVH 1)

Fowler Crest

  • The elegant Fowler mansion, complete with landscaped grounds and servants. (SVH 2)

The Wilkins Abode

  • A few blocks away from the Wakefield house (SVK 16)

Foxy Mama

  • Clothing store. (SVH 2)

Kelly’s

  • The most notorious bar in Sweet Valley. A beachfront roadhouse with loud country & western music, dimly-lit cracked-vinyl booths, smoke-filled air and a lack of respect for underage drinking laws. (SVH 1)

Miller’s Point

  • Favourite parking spot, overlooking Sweet Valley. (SVH 2)

Charles Freemont Park

  • A popular hangout for the second grade students of Sweet Valley Elementary School. Parents take it in turns to watch over them as they play (SVK 3)
  • Has swings, a seesaw and a jungle gym (SVK 13)

The Zoo

  • Has a monkey house (with chimpanzees and squirrel monkeys), a feeding zoo (with baby goats, piglets, fawns and lambs), snakes, bears, tigers and elephants. (SVK 8)

Sweet Valley Mall

  • Charles Department Store: hires a Santa during the holiday season (SVK SS 1)
  • Heavenly Dolls: a doll store (SVK 9)
